When you’re designing a logo, creating titles for a video, or making a custom thumbnail image for a YouTube video, finding the right font can often be time-consuming and frustrating. I do a lot of work in Gimp and there is a faster and easier way to preview fonts in that program. A faster way than selecting your text and clicking on one font at a time.
The secret is to open up the text dialogue box. Then you can arrow up or down and select fonts instantly, and see what they look like of course.
There are at least 3 different ways to open up the text dialogue box and in this video, I show you my 2 favorite methods.
Hopefully, this will help save you some time and eliminate the frustration of finding the right font for your next project.
